KAAR is a freelancing platform and a service by Badlon Banset, created to connect talented freelancers with clients across various sectors, enabling professional collaboration, creativity, and growth.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on our site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect and prevent spam.
An anonymized string (a hash) generated from your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to verify your profile picture. You can find their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once approved, your comment and profile image may be visible to the public.
Media
If you upload images or portfolio items to the platform, please ensure they do not contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other users may be able to extract location data from publicly shared files.
Cookies
When you leave a comment or submit a project, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for convenience so you won’t need to fill in your details again. These cookies will last for one year.
If you log in, temporary cookies will determine if your browser accepts them. Login-related cookies last for up to two days (or two weeks if you select “Remember Me”). Logging out removes these cookies. Editing or publishing a post may also store a non-personal cookie indicating the edited post ID, expiring after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Websites
Some posts on KAAR may include embedded content (e.g., videos, portfolios, articles). These behave exactly as if you visited the original website and may collect your data, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security verification. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment or submit a project, we retain the content and metadata indefinitely to streamline future interactions and platform functionality.
For registered users, we store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, edit, or delete their data at any time (except for usernames). Platform administrators can also view and manage this information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on KAAR, or have submitted comments, proposals, or projects, you can request an exported file of your personal data. You may also request its deletion, except where we are legally required to retain it for administrative or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor interactions, including comments and contact forms, may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Project files, proposals, and chats may be securely stored for quality control, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
